It is very important to us that you and your pet always receive a warm welcome and a very caring and personal service when you come to Wilbury Veterinary Surgery. In our eyes, your pet is very special, which is why we go out of our way to treat them as a member of your family and as a friend.
We take the time to get to know you and your pet and we pride ourselves on giving the very highest quality of professional service. Whenever possible your pet will see the same vet at every visit so they get used to a familiar face and we can provide real continuity of care.
After some extended searching for a Vet I settled on this one and I am very pleased I did. The practice has a lovely relaxed feeling when you walk in. Staff were REALLY pleasant and accommodating.
As you’ll see, all our vets and nursing staff are trained to a very high standard and are supported by excellent, modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment and technology. And we’re not just here for emergencies. We’d like to help you care for your pet throughout their life and we have a range of services – many of them free – to help you keep them in optimum health.
There has been a veterinary practice on Wilbury Avenue providing care for local pets since the 1960s. Peter & Anne bought the business in 1995 with one aim in mind: to provide the best quality care in an intimate environment. They have seen the practice grow from a one-man band into the modern clinic it is today, with routine care combined with a local referral service for other practices for more complex problems including orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, feline medicine and dermatology.
We are very proud to have been granted the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standard Scheme Small Animal Practice award. This means we are vigorously inspected periodically to make sure standards of care, training and welfare are of the highest levels.
We have also been awarded the prestigious Investors In People Silver Award. This is awarded to the top businesses inspected under the government scheme to recognise a high level of commitment to staff training and welfare.
